Family Record Keeper contest

My book finally arrived and I am so excited. It came on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. The UPS guy brought all sixteen boxes, 334 books into the front room, where they still reside. In the next few days, I will be trying to distribute them to different locations that have offered to sell them.
The book is in three-ring binder style and came with all of the divider pages at the very back. Moo and I have been busy putting the dividers where they belong in the book because we think it will sell better than it would if all 270 or so pages were all together.

I am really pleased with how the book turned out. I basically knew how it looked, but seeing it in person (really in book) made me happy. The binder itself is really high quality, which I knew because I paid extra for it.

To celebrate, I am giving away a free copy of Family Record Keeper. First, go to my website, www.familyrecordkeeper.com and read the information. Then come to my blog and tell me why you would love to have a copy. Just leave me a comment on my blog. I will draw one winner right before Christmas. Good luck.

Yeah! Congrats, Mary! This is going to be such an awesome tool for mothers. For me personally - it would help me have all my kids medical information in the same spot instead of searching for vaccination cards, medical receipts, etc.

I'm so happy for you!

This looks great! I like the idea of being able to grab it and go in an emergency. It's a good size to keep in a 72-hour kit.

Congratulations, Mary. This is such an exciting book, and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy. Information like this should be kept together, and I'm the least organized person I know when it comes to these things. I NEED one of these.

Nichole

PS Maybe if you'll be in Utah County in the next few days we could get together for a few minutes to swap? I have a contributor copy for you, and want to buy one of your books as well. (With your signature inside, of course.)

Mary, your book cover is beautiful. I wouldn't change a thing!

I'd love this book because my current filing system is piles on my desk and the floor surrounding it. Yikes! If I got the book, I would totally use it because everything will be ready for me to just insert and go! Woohoo! I'd even add sections for my kids' resume information (very needed since I'm helping my missionary son apply for college and am trying to round up all his resume stuff for him).

I've sent a link to your site to my extended family since I don't have a blog.

I expect you'll sell a lot of these! Congrats!

I don't think my need or desire is any different from anyone else's but I do want to comment that this looks very well organized. I can't think of a single important life event you've left out. Good job!
And good luck at selling every one of the 300+ that you have on hand and a gazillion more. I'll spread the word, too.

Nice job Mary. The think I like the best is the way you can change the pages to fit your needs.

Hey there, they finally came! Dreams DO come true, if you work for them, huh! Congrats on all your hard work! The book looks pretty comprehensive. This book can't help but make even the most disorganized person feel organized. (That would be me.) I don't know anyone who wouldn't want one. I think by our next visit (usually end of the month) your front room will be "all sold out".

Wonderful idea! I like the size of the binder. I think everything about this would be handy. I like to try to keep track of my kid's illnesses to see if they get sick at the same time every year with the same thing etc. so that I can prepare.
